Hey I'm going to be very VERY liberally blocking folk who start arguments in comment sections. if you believe that bigots who wish to cause harm to people for no rational reason are the same as the oppressed, I suspect this is not the comic for you and will do you the favor of removing it from your feed. Thanks. Be kind to each other.

OBT Page Ratio Edits - Complete!
Hey all, I wanted to announce that my long national nightmare is over! Which is to say, I've finally completed editing page ratios on Chapters 1-3 for OBT! For those who haven't been keeping up or are generally curious on what I mean, for the beginning of OBT pages had a size ratio I selected mostly on a whim, with transparent panel gutters, a sort of hobbled-together text bubble brush, and no regard for potential trim/book binding safety areas in the event I ever printed the comic. This format was fine for digital uploads, but not very print-friendly! So since last winter, I've been converting pages to something more print-friendly, and updating text bubbles while I was at it (the original text bubbles were sometimes incompatible with the new size ratio, and I wanted to keep the comic looking consistent to keep it brief). Originally these edits were gonna just be for OBT's future print run, but I decided to upload them on DA since the text is more easily readable and generally (in my
"Ok. Professor's Lab take two." I told myself confidently as I stood outside the doors to the big grey building. I took a deep breath and pushed the door open, knowing it was unlocked now. As I entered the building I realized just how dusty and dark it really was. I looked around, in the low light some scientists were hard at work with clipboards and notebooks, looking over a weird machine that hummed in a low tone. Alright, so I'm going to try something new. I need points to get a commission for a group of my friends in time for the holiday season, so I'm opening up something I'd like to call BackStory Commissions.
Do you have MLP OC's that have an amazing design but a less than stellar story?
Well fret not my friends! For the low low price of 5 I will write your oc a backstory or give it a bio~!
What I'll need from you. (Please leave in a comment below this journal.)
-A reference or a description of your MLP Character
- A cutie mark description or picture if you have one. (If not just tell me what their talent is and I'll come up with one and wo
(Quick authors note before I get to the story. I'll be honest, I've had this part typed up for months, and actually a lot more as well, but the thing is... I haven't even finished the first day. I go into waaaay to much depth for a normal journal entry... or for a normal person but I already dedicated myself to this style of story telling so I may as well roll with it. Anyways, I just couldn't figure out a good way to post this, so I think I'll just split it into parts. Anyways, hope you enjoy. I have no idea how many parts there will be... we've still got the lab, the first pokemon encounter and the first night plus everything in between. x3
